Sports Marketing Program


Fans attending established professional sporting games.


Activate at select, established sports partnerships to increase the DraftKings ("DK") user base and reinforce the brand. Partnerships included: Golden State Warriors, Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Flyers, Oakland Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Timberwolves, and others.

Work Scope

On behalf of the program, OTA:

  • Develops and manages the budget
  • Hires and trains subcsription sales representatives and brand ambassadors
  • Coordinates booth shipping and handling arrangements, as well as travel itineraries
  • Acts as liaison between DK Corporate and third party marketing venues
  • Develops and executes strategic consumer promotions


  • Acquired 7,800+ new users in the 2015-16 sports season
  • Attended 40+ games across the NFL, NBA, and NHL
  • Hired and trained 30+ Sales Representatives
